Empowering Lowe’s Workforce

Designing a seamless and intuitive intranet experience

Lowe’s aimed to improve the interaction experience for its store employees by developing an Integrated Workspace Experience (IWE). This initiative was designed to provide employees with a centralized digital hub to streamline their daily tasks, improve collaboration, and enhance their ability to serve customers more efficiently.

As the creative designer, our team played a crucial role in transforming the strategic goals of the IWE project into a user-friendly and visually cohesive intranet experience. We focused on designing a consistent visual theme and branding across the platform, ensuring that the user interface (UI) was intuitive, accessible, and aligned with Lowe’s corporate identity. This included redesigning the store-landing page, enhancing navigation elements, and optimizing the layout for role-based content access. Additionally, we collaborated closely with developers to ensure that the creative vision was seamlessly integrated into the technical framework.

The Result
  • Enhanced Usability: Delivered an intranet interface that simplified navigation, allowing store employees to quickly access essential tools and information.
  • Consistent Branding: Applied a cohesive visual design that reinforced Lowe’s brand identity across all intranet pages.
  • Improved Employee Productivity: The redesigned interface and streamlined access to applications helped reduce time spent on routine tasks, boosting overall efficiency.
  • Positive Employee Feedback: The new workspace experience received favorable reviews from employees, who found the intranet more user-friendly and effective in supporting their daily activities.
